Mythinkcar Ads Manager Privacy Policy

Effective date and last updated: October 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Mythinkcar Ads Manager, operated by the THINKCAR team responsible for mythinkcar.com ("we", "us" or "our"), accesses, uses, stores and shares information in connection with its Google Ads reporting and management functions. It applies to the application and its authorized operational tools. General shopping and website practices are described separately in the THINKCAR website Privacy Policy.

Google data and permissions

After an authorized user grants access, the application may retrieve the following information from the Google Ads accounts that the user is permitted to access:

  • Advertising account identifiers, account names, reporting currencies and time zones.
  • Campaign, ad group, ad and asset identifiers and names; campaign types; budgets; bidding and conversion settings; delivery and review status; and advertising destination URLs and tracking parameters when needed for an operational review.
  • Advertising performance reports, including dates, spending, impressions, clicks, average click costs, attributed conversions, conversion value and related aggregate reporting metrics.
  • Campaign changes and operational records needed to verify requested actions and maintain an audit history.

The application uses the Google Ads OAuth permission https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords. This permission supports reading and managing Google Ads account data; the application is not limited to read-only reporting. The Google connection does not request Gmail, Google Drive or Google Contacts permissions.

OAuth access and refresh tokens are used to authenticate API requests and maintain a connection while authorization remains valid. We do not request or store the user's Google password. Reports may also combine separately authorized business data, such as store sales summaries, for the requested advertising analysis; granting Google access does not by itself authorize access to a separate store or service.

How the information is used

We use the information to prepare advertising reports, compare performance over time, monitor budget progress, investigate delivery or conversion reporting issues, and support the team's operational and financial reviews. At an authorized operator's request, the application can also make Google Ads management changes, such as changing campaign budgets or pausing campaigns. Automated actions are limited to rules explicitly approved by the account operator.

Selected advertising metrics and report excerpts may be used for AI-assisted analysis to produce requested summaries and recommendations. This analysis supports the advertising functions described here. It does not replace the account operator's approval requirements for management changes.

Storage and retention

Authorization configuration, advertising reports, exported workbooks, review evidence and action logs may be stored in workspaces and backup locations controlled by the authorized operating team. Selected report excerpts may also be processed in the AI service used for an authorized analysis.

We retain records for as long as they are needed for the purposes described in this policy, including ongoing reporting, historical campaign comparisons, financial reconciliation and action audits, or as required by applicable law. Retention depends on the type of record and the applicable business or legal requirement. Reports and audit records may remain after an account is disconnected where they are still needed for those purposes.

Revoking Google authorization does not automatically delete information already exported or retained in reports, analysis records or backups. Users can request access, correction or deletion using the contact process below. Requests are reviewed against the requester's authority and applicable retention requirements, including the handling of copies and backups. We explain any records that must be retained and the reason for retaining them.

Sharing and service providers

Information is accessed by authorized operators and reporting staff for the functions described above. We do not sell Google user data.

  • Google: provides OAuth authentication and the Google Ads API, including the processing required to return reports and execute authorized management requests.
  • OpenAI: may process selected advertising metrics, campaign information and report excerpts when authorized staff request AI-assisted analysis. Processing is for the requested reporting and analysis functions and is subject to the applicable OpenAI service terms, privacy settings and retention arrangements. OAuth tokens, client secrets and passwords must not be included in analysis submissions.
  • Shopify: hosts this public application information page and privacy policy as part of the mythinkcar.com website. The website's general privacy policy covers browsing and shopping data. Publishing these pages does not publish advertising reports or authorization credentials.

Transfers to service providers must be limited to providing the disclosed functions with the user's authorization. Information may also be disclosed when necessary to comply with applicable law, protect the security of the application, or respond to an authorized legal process. We do not use the application to develop or train a generalized AI model on Google user data.

Data protection

Requests to Google's authorization and advertising APIs are transmitted over HTTPS. Google OAuth and Google Ads account permissions control access to connected accounts. Operational workspaces, configuration files and exported reports must be restricted to authorized personnel. Authorization credentials are not embedded in public pages or published reports and are not intended for submission to AI analysis tools.

Users should keep access to their Google and operational accounts secure and should not send passwords, access tokens, refresh tokens or client secrets in support requests. No online or local storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Google API data commitments

Mythinkcar Ads Manager's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the applicable Limited Use requirements. Access and processing are limited to the application functions disclosed in this policy and the user's authorization.

Revoking access and making a data request

You can review or revoke the application's connection at Google Account third-party connections. Revocation prevents future API access through that authorization once it takes effect. You can also contact us to request that the operating team stop using a connected account.

For access, correction, deletion or privacy questions, email support@mythinkcar.com with Mythinkcar Ads Manager Privacy Request in the subject. Identify the relevant advertising account and your relationship to it without sending credentials. We may ask for information needed to verify your authority and identify the relevant records before acting on the request.

Policy changes and contact

We update this policy when the application's data practices change and revise the date shown above. Material changes to Google data access or use will be disclosed before the new processing begins, with renewed consent where required.
