At the 2026 AliExpress Annual Summit & Double 11 Seller Conference, THINKCAR shared its "AI + scenario" approach to cross-border growth — 11x growth on the AE channel in six years.
On October 19, 2026, the 2026 AliExpress Annual Summit & Double 11 Seller Conference opened at Hall 4 of the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (Futian). Built around four pillars — Branding, Localization, AI enablement, and Compliance — the summit unveiled its annual platform strategy, Double 11 policies, and key vertical opportunities, with four themed pavilions: Brand, Country, Industry, and Ecosystem.
THINKCAR Wins, MUCAR Shortlisted for the Pioneer Brand Award
Among the rankings announced alongside the conference, THINKCAR won the "AliExpress 2026 Global Home · Pioneer Brand Award," while its sub-brand MUCAR was shortlisted, in recognition of their standout performance in cross-border expansion and branded operations. As THINKCAR's AI diagnostic sub-brand for mainstream consumers, MUCAR forms a dual-brand overseas matrix together with THINKCAR. The recognition also reflects the rapid growth and brand equity both brands have built on the AliExpress platform.

Four Engines Behind 11x Growth in Six Years
Chen Zhiwei (George Chen), Head of AI Product Department at THINKCAR, was invited to deliver a keynote, systematically reviewing THINKCAR's partnership with AliExpress (AE) and, for the first time publicly, breaking down the methodology behind its "AI + scenario"-driven global brand growth. According to THINKCAR, the company joined AliExpress in 2021, and by 2025 its on-platform GMV had surpassed US$10 million, with AE-channel growth significantly outpacing the brand's overall performance. Over six years, THINKCAR achieved 11x growth on the AE platform, making AliExpress a core growth engine of its globalization strategy.

Chen Zhiwei attributed the explosive growth to the "resonance" of four key moves. First, Super Brand Day — concentrating resources to ignite visibility, with GMV over 3x daily, YoY growth exceeding 100%, over 16 million incremental on-platform brand impressions, and over 10 million off-platform influencer impressions. Second, the "One-Stop Push" (Yizhan Tui) ad placement, which returns marketing control to merchants, lifting ROI by 12% and combined on- and off-platform CTR by 5%. Third, Brand Zone protection, building a consumer-trust loop through full brand coverage, exclusive search placement, and official certification badges. Fourth, an offline upgrade — leveraging partnerships with authoritative global automotive media to expand its reach in the English-language market, achieving full-channel coverage from online e-commerce to offline authoritative media.
From "Code Reading" to "Reasoning": AI Empowers the Scenario
In the core of the speech, Chen Zhiwei first addressed the doubt of whether "AI is just hype." Citing industry phenomena, he noted that modern vehicles' electrical systems, sensors, and smart modules have, as widely reported, grown substantially versus the past — a car is no longer just "a mechanical problem." On the supply side, as widely reported, the average age of North American technicians has reached 46, and 56% of repair shops cite "unable to hire qualified technicians" as their biggest challenge — an experience gap that makes diagnostic reasoning a scarce resource. In his view, AI's true value lies not in adding another feature to a product, but in empowering the scenario — handing tedious, repetitive steps to AI.
Take automotive diagnostics as an example: traditional devices only tell the user "what the fault is called," while THINKCAR's AI devices go further and tell the user "how to fix it." Built on the in-house diagnostic large language model ThinkLLM and the Tyler Agent, THINKCAR reconstructs diagnostics as joint reasoning over multi-source heterogeneous data, cross-validating to infer the most probable fault source, and outputting an AI comprehensive fault analysis that includes urgency, likely causes, repair guidance, and a verification loop. Behind this lies THINKCAR's years of accumulated repair cases and training data — what faces the user is no longer a cold device or a single master technician, but an expert team that is always online and replicable.

This is precisely the underlying logic of THINKCAR's "Fix with Experts" brand positioning — when users pick up the product, they are, in effect, talking to an expert; all complexity ends with the brand, all simplicity begins with the user. Chen Zhiwei also offered three pieces of industry advice: avoid price wars over homogenized features; don't just "stuff AI into a product" but "use AI to open up a scenario"; and treat AI as a lever to lower the barrier to use, not a selling point. He concluded: "AI will not eliminate an industry, but those who use AI will eliminate those who don't."
From "selling devices" to "selling solutions," AI+ is becoming THINKCAR's second growth curve. THINKCAR's award win and MUCAR's shortlisting for the "AliExpress 2026 Global Home · Pioneer Brand Award" are both recognition of their cross-border achievements and a sign of the "AI diagnostics" category's continued momentum in the global consumer market.
