I bought it less than a month ago. I own an auto repair shop, and it does everything I need it for. It was bought as a backup tool, but I've been grabbing it as my primary to get familiar with what it will do. I just wish when printing the diagnostics codes it would condense down to one sheet of paper. There too much waste there. Other than that it's done what I've needed it for. Still getting used to it.

This Mucar scanner is amazing. Does a lot if not more than you need it to do. I use this scanner mainly in my own garage and not at the shop. I haven't had an opportunity to use the programming side but just from a basic user experience it does great. Its quick. It connects to my car's right away and starts pulling codes and reading vins. The obd2 connector it wireless and connects to the back of the tablet via magnet. The tablet even yells at you to remind you to take the connector out of the car. This scanner came with all sorts of accessories. One thing I like the most is the case. Paying this much for the a scanner I better get a case with it! I used this scanner to read some codes for my bmw z4 and it wasn't able to decode codes. It only gave me a basic reading. However it is a bmw and most likely just needs the bmw software to decode it fully. I really like the user interface as well. It is very straight forward and user friendly. More to come with this scanner but things are very promising with Mucar.

I already owned a diagnostic computer for cars, or at least I thought I did until I received this MUCAR OBD2 scanner. It is simply a brilliant piece of kit.

When first power on connect it to your wifi and then go to update all available. It will then spend some time updating cars, its software, its in built app connections etc.
After using you can generate the results to a pdf report and emailing it yourself or a customer etc direct from the tool. One point of note, when I emailed the report to myself it first when to junk mail so if you are not receiving the report in your inbox then check junk / spam folder.
The build quality of the tablet (ruggedized), the accessories and the case is also excellent.
All in all this is a fantastic piece of kit that I have not trouble recommending.

Teuer, aber gut
Das Diagnosegerät macht schon beim Auspacken einen sehr soliden Eindruck. Es liegt angenehm in der Hand und wird mit allem geliefert, was man braucht. Die Bedienung ist einfach, das Menü logisch aufgebaut, der Touchscreen reagiert schnell. WLAN und Bluetooth sorgen für völlige Bewegungsfreiheit beim Schrauben. Unterstützt werden extrem viele Fahrzeugtypen – sogar ausgefallenere E-Modelle. Richtig stark: Man kann Steuergeräte direkt ansteuern und Funktionen aktiv testen. Die kostenlosen Updates sorgen dafür, dass das System langfristig aktuell bleibt. Auch Codierungen und Fahrzeuganpassungen sind möglich – allerdings sollte man wissen, was man tut. Die robuste Verarbeitung macht das Gerät werkstatttauglich. Und der integrierte Bildschirm? Ein echter Komfortgewinn – endlich kein Gefummel mehr mit Kabeln oder Laptop. Klasse Detail: der eigentliche Stecker hält magnetisch an der Rückseite des Screens - top!

Also das ist ja mal ein richtig tolles Teil. Egal ob von der Optik, von der Haptik oder von der Verarbeitungsqualität her, es gibt erstmal absolut gar nichts daran zu meckern. Alles ist praktisch in einer stabilen Box untergebracht und auch der Lieferumfang kann sich sehen lassen. Das Gerät selbst ist sehr stabil ausgeführt und auch gut gegen Stöße geschützt, was in einer Werkstatt immer empfehlenswert ist. Der OBD-Stecker ist kabellos und befindet sich auf der Rückseite des Bildschirms und wird da via Magnet festgehalten. Das System unterstützt nahezu alle erdenklichen Fahrzeuge wobei hier beim auslesen der Fehler und dem Rückstellen von Services noch lange nicht Schluss ist. Da das Gerät via WLAN mit der großen, weiten Welt kommuniziert, wird es hier auch mit Updates versorgt und man kann auch darüber mit einer Community kommunizieren oder den Service kontaktieren. Sogar für ein Spielchen zwischendurch ist gesorgt. Für den Hausgebrauch auf jeden Fall ein top Gerät und auch für die kleine Werkstatt sicherlich ein Gerät mit Mehrwert.
